Frequently Asked Questions

Are your classes free?

We volunteer to present at nonprofit conferences and education programs throughout the year. And typically, once a quarter we run a free program like a panel discussion or an intro level session for a class or service we offer. You can watch an example in our All About Logos session, free online right now. If you’d like to hear about our free classes, join our email list here. We send out a monthly enews with a marketing article and information about all our upcoming programs.

We charge for most of our classes so we can provide quality education that gives you thorough answers. You’ve probably registered for enough free webinars to know that free content isn’t in-depth. We want to focus on delivering useful content without a sales pitch.

Can I get a receipt?

The registration system automatically sends a receipt for class with the subject line “Invoice.” Look in your email or junk folder to see if it is there. If you didn’t receive it, or what is included is not what you need, please email meghan@iriscreative.com and we will send one for you.

Do I get a certificate?

If a certification of participation is needed for an individual class, please email meghan@iriscreative.com and we’ll provide one for you.

Do we get the slides?

Our slides are designed for a great presentation rather than to be a handout. We’ll send a resource version including the key points.

How long are the classes?

Our classes typically run 90 minutes. We find that this length of time, while a commitment for you, allows us to thoroughly cover the topic and have time for the polls, discussion, and questions that make the classes so much better.

How long can I watch the replay?
Replay times vary depending on product. Replays are available for both live and On-Demand Classes for 30 days. On-Demand Bundles are available for 6 months after purchase. If you purchase either of our live Courses you can access the recordings until December 31, 2022.
I didn’t get my link to the class

The email with your link to class should come from Zoom. Sometimes emails get caught in spam filters. Please check your spam, junk, or promotions folder to see if the email is there.

The other reason that you may not have received a receipt or link email is due to a typo when inputting your email address during registration. Happens all the time! If you didn’t receive an email with login information, please email meghan@iriscreative.com. The hour before the live session we are preparing for class and may not see your message. If you miss the live class, you will still have access to the replay.

I didn’t get the replay

The replay email is sent by noon Eastern the day following class. Sometimes emails get caught in spam filters. Please check your spam, junk, or promotions folder to see if the email is there. All replay emails use the subject line “Master Class Replay.” Search for that in your inbox and junk folder. If you still don’t have it, please email meghan@iriscreative.com before the replay period ends. Extended access is available through our courses or through purchasing a recorded copy in the On Demand section of the website.

I missed the replay

If you clicked to watch the replay and got an error or it wasn’t available, that means that the replay period included with the class has ended. Extended access is available through our courses or through purchasing a recorded copy in the On Demand section of the website.

Is there a deadline to sign up for the Foundations Course?

You can sign up anytime and get access to the full curriculum. All classes that have already run live will be available in your course as recordings to watch right away. The live course starts in January.

What’s the difference between a Course, a Class, a Lesson and a Bundle?

A course is a comprehensive series of classes that have been developed to work together to build understanding and the core skills a nonprofit marketer needs.

A class is an individual session. Each of the individual classes in a course may be taken on its own. Additionally, we offer classes on marketing skills and trends throughout the year that are not in the Foundations program.

A lesson is a 30-minute session on a very narrow topic. Lessons are often created to supplement classes with content that is more detailed than can be provided in class.

A bundle is a group of recorded classes on a particular topic that can be purchased together at a reduced rate. If you have topics you think we should develop as a course, class, or lesson, please let us know!
